Lighting design for a log home, especially an extensive remodel, is a challenge. Wood surfaces absorb light and demand twice the quantity of light.
The challenges were to provide lighting that did the job without being obtrusive (you can’t see the mini-recess by the fireplace) and to highlight some of the more interesting log structures inside and out.
